MARKING TREES:  Mark your Pine and Spruce trees (5 inches in diameter or larger) with bright colored flagging tape (no duct tape or dark colors) completely around the trunk – NOT limbs. For Pinons, hang a minimum 1 ft. length of ribbon from a branch all facing the same direction toward our approach. If spraying for part MPB and part IB, please use different color ribbons and note colors on authorization form. Please use a different color tape than your adjoining neighbor or write your property address on trees along lot line for proper billing. Also please keep in mind we have a 300 ft. hose limitation.

It is important you count as accurately as possible. If you have more than 10 trees, we encourage you to put a number on each ribbon as you wrap and when done, you should have an accurate count. If our mechanical counter is different than what you reported, we have to take the time to re-count. NOTE: Trees that have two trunks coming out of the same ground base will be counted as two unless you mark on the tape “do not spray other side“. If no notation is made, both sides will be sprayed and you will be billed for two.

Please have trees marked when sending in your authorization. If you are an absentee owner, please indicate what date the trees will be marked. We assume that if no notation is made on the authorization form we can schedule with other property owners in the area and normally do not call in advance. For those absentee property owners who will not be able to mark their trees or can’t get a neighbor to mark them, and we have sprayed before, we can possibly give you some assistance. If you are a new customer, please call us and we will assist you with making arrangements for spraying.

If your request for spraying is for a time other than the scheduled time, a trip charge and/or adjusted price could apply. It is important to book early because we are already committed to spray several subdivisions plus numerous individual property owners.
